内容简介:

The current trends in the development of industry, the priorities of innovation, new technologies and dominant role of production companies in economy, incline one to conclude that the challenges and expectations for production engineering are enormous. Production engineering has all the necessary components to play a significant role in development, becoming both an inspiration for this development and its main driving force. During the presentation the most interesting and promising challenges of the Industry 4.0 having an influence on reliability development will be presented. They will be discussed and some example research achievements of the author’s team will be shown as an example as well.  

主讲人简介:

Dariusz Mazurkiewicz is a professor of Lublin University of Technology, Poland. He is the head of the Metrology and Computerization in Production Engineering Chair at the Production Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Faculty, Lublin University of Technology, Poland. He is also the editor-in-chief of the quarterly “Maintenance and Reliability”, which among others is indexed by Scopus and the Web of Science. He is a member of several international conferences’ scientific councils and other advisory boards. Among others:

   --expert of the European Commission, Research Executive Agency, within the Horizon 2020 Programme – Innovation Actions, Brussels, Belgium;

     --member of the Board of Directors of the Entrepreneurship Incubator of the Lublin University of Technology;

     --external expert in the “National Foresight Programme – results implementation” carried out on behalf of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Warsaw, Poland;

   --expert responsible for preparation of the  Regional Innovation Strategy up to 2020, Department of Economy and Innovation, Marshal Office of the Lublin Region;

   --Head and member of the Doctor’s Degree Scientific Committees at the Lublin University of Technology, Poland; at the Klajpeda University, Klajpeda, Lithuania and at the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Vilnius, Lithuania;

Prof. Dariusz Mazurkiewicz was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Instrumental Analysis, Kobe University (Japan) and at the Cambridge University (Cambridge University Engineering Department - Cambridge, England) under the scientific supervision of Prof. M. F. Ashby, Royal Society Research Professor.
